Leading with Heart: Building a Culture of Care in Early Learning (presented by Anne Marie Coughlin)

October 7 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Registration Available September 10 – September 30, 2024.

Join us for an immersive day of discovery and connection where we will reflect on and re-imagine the role of leadership in early learning. Throughout the morning, we will delve into how we bring humanity into our collective work. We will question the status quo and seek out new and powerful ways to weave care and connection into the fabric of our roles. We will reflect on our own passions and the deeper purpose that guides our daily practice. In the afternoon, we will turn our focus to practical applications drawn from our book, Creating a Culture of Reflective Practice: The Role of Pedagogical Leadership in Early Learning Programs. Together, we will find inspiration in the idea that we are not just leaders, but architects of meaningful, purposeful environments where both children and adults can thrive.

Anne Marie Coughlin is educational director at London Bridge child Care Services (Ontario, Canada). Over the past 35 years, she has held a variety of roles in the early learning sector and served as a provincial director with the Canadian Association for Young Children and as director at large for the Ontario Reggio Association.
