We are excited to welcome Avery and Melissa from the Children’s Treatment Centre, who will be joining us to explore “Supporting Children with Behaviour and Sensory Needs”. We encourage representation from each organization to become familiar with the materials in the sensory kits that will be distributed to each agency.
A presentation that will challenge participants to think outside of the sensory box. We will discuss sensory reactivity and implications for children’s sensory needs within a child care setting. By the end of the presentation participants will be able to interpret and appropriately respond to behaviours that are linked to sensory needs.
